Catherine Perez
Owner and goddess of artisan breads: Catherine started her bakery, Con Pane Rustic Breads & Cafe, in June of 1999. What makes Con Pane so special? Catherine does everything from scratch and bakes it fresh every day in a ten-ton stone deck oven imported from France. (She calls it the biggest toaster in the world!) All of her unsold breads at the end of the day are donated to St. Agnes Church, which distributes them to area shut-ins and St. Vincent de Paul's Homeless Shelter.
Emmanuel Burgin
General Manager and a man of many talents: an athlete, baker, photographer and published author. Burgie splits his time and passion in two cities: San Diego and Prague, where his baking and writing are in perfect harmony. Check out his latest book In the News.

Cafe Staff: Counter Staff / Sandwich Maker / Cashier
How to apply: You may stop by Con Pane Rustic Breads & Cafe at 1110 Rosecrans Street, Point Loma (two blocks past Shelter Island Drive) and ask for an Employment Application. The best time to pick up or complete an application is between 7:00am - 11:00am or between 3:00pm and 6:00pm. No phone calls please.
